God, I don't know if I will ever see this man again, but I do hope so. If love was ever enough ...(Thanks Blake Shelton)
The prettiest hand a woman can have is with a ring on it.
1 Corinthians 7:1-40
Now
concerning the matters about which you wrote: “It is good for a man not to have
sexual relations with a woman.” But because of the temptation to sexual
immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.
The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to
her husband. For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the
husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body,
but the wife does. Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for
a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come
together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of
self-control. ...
To
the married I give this charge (not I, but the Lord): the wife should not
separate from her husband (but if she does, she should remain unmarried or else
be reconciled to her husband), and the husband should not divorce his wife.
Therefore
a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they
shall become one flesh.
Then
the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him
a helper fit for him.”
Do
not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness
with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
This
is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that one may eat of it and not
die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this
bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the
world is my flesh.” The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying, “How can
this man give us his flesh to eat?” So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say
to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you
have no life in you. Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal
life, and I will raise him up on the last day. ...
And
I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and
marries another, commits adultery.”
But
I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of
sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced
woman commits adultery.
So I would have younger widows marry, bear children, manage their households, and give the adversary no occasion for slander.
